The Role of Automated Operations Engineer

Ericsson is seeking a Graduate Automated Operations Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is part of a 12-month contract program, ideal for fresh graduates with 0-1 years of experience. The position focuses on ensuring networks operate smoothly and efficiently by combining network expertise, analytical thinking, customer-service orientation, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor a live mobile network 24/7, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly to avoid service disruption, including critical services such as emergency calls, while working in rotational shifts within the Network Operations Center (NOC).
• Coordinate, support, manage, and execute 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure services remain continuously available and meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance standards.
• Open and manage customer trouble tickets and process service orders using various operational systems and tools.
• Initiate and support the investigation of incidents through trend analysis of end-user performance and network faults, enabling early identification of potential customer issues.
• Actively participate in the development and implementation of new solutions to meet evolving customer requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Fresh graduate with a technical degree.
• 0-1 years of professional experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Demonstrated network expertise, analytical thinking, customer-service orientation, and organizational skills.

Work Environment and Program Details

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
