Barista (For Saudi only)

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Barista (For Saudi only) to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring guest satisfaction according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare drink orders for guests following specified recipes and using precise measuring systems.
• Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles as required.
• Set up and maintain the cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks and ensure adequate stock of ice, glassware, and paper supplies.
• Transport supplies to the bar set-up area and wash soiled glassware.
• Remove soiled wares from the bar top and tables, placing them in designated areas.
• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs for supplies.
• Process all payment methods, count the bank at the end of the shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure the bank.
• Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas.
• Complete all closing duties as assigned.

Operational and Service Standards

• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, support the team in achieving common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or * equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience is preferred.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• License or Certification: None specified.

Physical Demands

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats (*, small print).
• Capability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Capacity to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
