About the Barista Role

Mina Excellence is seeking a passionate and skilled Specialty Coffee Barista to join our team. This full-time position is based in Jeddah and Makkah within the Makkah Region. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of specialty coffee preparation and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages in accordance with established quality standards.
• Operate and calibrate espresso machines and coffee grinders daily.
• Prepare manual brew methods, including V60, Chemex, and Cold Brew, alongside other specialty coffee drinks.
• Monitor coffee extraction quality and adjust recipes to achieve optimal results.
• Educate customers on coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and work area.
• Assist with inventory management and report supply needs as required.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in specialty coffee preparation is preferred.
• A strong understanding of espresso extraction, grinder calibration, and various coffee brewing techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
• A genuine passion for learning and continuous development within the specialty coffee industry.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position. The role involves working in a dynamic coffee shop environment located in Jeddah and Makkah, within the Makkah Region. The position requires 0-1 year of experience, indicating an opportunity for individuals early in their coffee career.
