The Role of Barista

Alhuraish Trading is seeking a Barista for a full-time, on-site position in Jeddah, Makkah. This role is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in a fast-paced retail setting. The Barista also contributes to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and efficient store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operate coffee machines and prepare beverages according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Prepare light food items as required.
Greet customers, take orders, and process payments accurately.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and customer seating area.
Restock supplies and monitor product quality.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive customer experience.

Qualifications and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent education.
0-1 year of experience; previous experience in a café, restaurant, or retail environment is preferred.
Strong barista skills, including beverage preparation and familiarity with coffee equipment.
Solid customer service and interpersonal skills to ensure a friendly and attentive guest experience.
Clear communication skills for accurate order taking, team coordination, and customer inquiries.
Basic food preparation skills and an understanding of hygiene and safety standards.
Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and operating point-of-sale systems.
Ability to stand for extended periods, work various shifts, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Jeddah. The role involves working in a dynamic retail environment that values reliability, service excellence, and a collaborative work culture.
