About the Executive Chef Role

Shangri-La Hotel in Jeddah is seeking an accomplished Executive Chef to lead the culinary direction of its luxury waterfront property on the Red Sea. This full-time position requires a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in international luxury hospitality.

Culinary Leadership and Vision

The Executive Chef will be responsible for championing culinary creativity across all hotel outlets while ensuring consistent quality. This role involves curating innovative menus and seasonal promotions that align with the Shangri-La brand. A key aspect is the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing culinary brigade, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.

Operational Management

This position requires strong leadership in managing large-scale banquet operations with precision and refinement. The Executive Chef will drive food cost efficiency and productivity, maintaining uncompromising standards of quality and service. Upholding the highest levels of hygiene, food safety, and sustainability practices is also a critical responsibility.

Guest Engagement and Experience

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in international luxury hospitality.
