About the Role

HCLTech is seeking an Equipment Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is dedicated to supporting and improving automotive stamping equipment, requiring a specialized background in engineering.

Role Purpose and Context

The Equipment Engineer operates as a key liaison between the Maintenance and Process Engineering departments. The core mission of this role is to enhance equipment optimization, ensure reliability, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the automotive stamping operations. This is achieved through the application of lean strategies and specialized technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and implement improvements for automotive stamping equipment.
• Facilitate collaboration and communication between Maintenance and Process Engineering teams.
• Lead efforts to optimize equipment performance and enhance overall reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement projects utilizing lean strategies and methodologies.
• Apply technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background in Mechatronics, Automation, or a similar engineering field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in equipment engineering, ideally within an automotive manufacturing or stamping environment.
• Demonstrated understanding and application of lean strategies for operational improvement.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a manufacturing setting, requiring close interaction with various engineering and maintenance personnel.
