About the Role

Saudi German Health is seeking an experienced Group Senior Procurement Specialist to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for supporting group-level procurement activities across the organization.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring effective sourcing, robust supplier management, and significant cost optimization. This position also involves maintaining strict compliance with procurement policies and procedures throughout the Saudi German Health Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs/RFPs, evaluation, negotiation, and supplier selection.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and key internal stakeholders.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and service agreements to achieve optimal value.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify competitive suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and contractual compliance.
• Support procurement strategies and initiatives across the Group.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, approval processes, and governance standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvement, and procurement efficiency.
• Prepare procurement reports, spend analysis, and supplier performance evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and other departments to support business requirements.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant procurement experience, preferably within a large or multi-site organization.
• Healthcare or hospital procurement experience is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization.
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia is preferred.
