About the Role

Wild&Org is seeking a Head Pastry Chef to join our team for an upcoming healthy Grab&Go café in Jeddah. This full-time position requires a professional with a passion for healthy baking and quality ingredients, capable of creating products suited for fast-paced lifestyles.

Key Responsibilities

The Head Pastry Chef will be responsible for the preparation and development of a variety of healthy baked goods, including pastries, breads, cookies, muffins, energy bars, and seasonal items. Maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and portioning across all products is essential. The role also involves ensuring adherence to proper food safety, labeling, and storage standards, as well as monitoring inventory levels and kitchen cleanliness.

Operational Leadership

This position entails leading and managing the overall operations of the pastry kitchen. The Head Pastry Chef will also play a key role in supporting menu development initiatives and providing training to kitchen staff, contributing to the team's growth and skill enhancement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef is required.
  • Experience in healthy, gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or allergen-friendly baking is considered a significant advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques and kitchen operations is necessary.
  • A Food Handler’s Certificate or the ability to obtain one is required.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • The ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organization and time management skills are essential for efficient workflow.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based at our new healthy Grab&Go café located in Jeddah. The role requires working within a dynamic and evolving culinary setting.
