About the Role

Luxury Collection is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, focusing on maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations and ensuring quality across guest rooms, public areas, and the pool.

Core Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and the pool after cleaning by Housekeepers to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
• Manage room status by running sold room reports, verifying statuses, identifying discrepant rooms, prioritizing cleaning, and updating departing guest room statuses.
• Act as a liaison to coordinate efforts between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments.
• Document and resolve issues related to discrepant rooms in collaboration with the Front Desk.
• Prepare, distribute, and communicate changes in room assignments, and relay relevant issues to the next shift.
• Complete all required operational paperwork accurately and on time.

Team Support and Compliance

• Support Housekeeping management in various HR functions, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Ensure strict adherence to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries promptly.
• Complete all necessary safety training and certifications as required.

• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Uphold confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with colleagues and guests, fostering positive working relationships.
• Respond appropriately to employee concerns and ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull a loaded housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions.
• Capacity to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Competence in entering and locating work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems.
• Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
