About the Role

WSP in the Middle East is seeking a Hydraulics Inspector to join their team in Makkah, with work spanning across Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role involves supervising and inspecting hydraulic-related works on infrastructure projects to ensure strict compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect various hydraulic works, including water supply, drainage, stormwater, sewerage, irrigation, and pumping systems.
  • Ensure that all works are executed in strict accordance with approved drawings, method statements, and specifications.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, witness testing and commissioning procedures, and verify material approvals.
  • Monitor contractor activities closely and report any non-conformances promptly.
  • Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to facilitate project progress.
  • Maintain comprehensive inspection records, daily reports, and snag lists.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and relevant local regulations.
  • Provide support during project handover processes, as-built verification, and final inspections.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Hydraulics Inspector position should possess between 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in supervising and inspecting hydraulic works within infrastructure projects.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, covering project sites in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires active presence on site to oversee and inspect hydraulic installations and related activities.
