About the Role

Jeddah Central Development Company is seeking an Information Security Manager to lead and manage all activities related to protecting the company's digital and physical information assets. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, involves implementing and maintaining data security policies and procedures to ensure data remains secure and compliant with regulatory requirements. The Information Security Manager will coordinate with various teams to identify weaknesses, manage data security incidents, and provide strategic guidance on data protection.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the implementation of the data security strategy and develop/enforce data security procedures in line with company goals and compliance.
Respond to data security incidents, conduct post-incident analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect data asset inventory and integrate data security best practices across the organization.
Execute training and awareness programs on data security practices and the importance of protecting classified information.
Oversee the selection and implementation of data security tools and technologies, and monitor industry trends and threats.
Provide expert advice and guidance on data security matters to senior management and stakeholders.
Define and establish access controls for classified data resources in collaboration with data owners.
Manage reviews of access controls and permissions, and oversee the process for granting, modifying, and revoking access to data resources.
Approve identity and access management requests for various data systems (database, dataset, USB, SAP, cloud drives, e-vaults, internet URL access, DLP, RMS) to prevent data breaches.
Monitor user access review activities across the company's data systems.
Develop and implement processes for handling data subject requests (access, rectification, deletion).
Ensure data privacy best practices are integrated throughout the organization and monitor compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
Lead Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new and existing projects.
Manage the organization's data breach response and notification procedures.

Strategic Contribution and Management

Ensure effective cascading of divisional strategy into sectional business plans for vertical alignment and horizontal integration.
Manage the achievement of assigned objectives by leading the designated section, setting individual objectives, managing performance, and developing staff.
Lead talent development initiatives for the assigned section, ensuring talent availability to meet business requirements.
Manage the preparation and recommendation of the sectional budget, and monitor financial performance against the budget.
Ensure effective implementation of policies, procedures, and controls covering all areas of assigned sectional activity.
Lead the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of all department reports, meeting company requirements and quality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in information security or a related field.
Demonstrated experience in managing data security strategies, procedures, and incident response.
Proven ability to manage identity and access management processes.
Experience with data privacy regulations and conducting Privacy Impact Assessments.
