About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking an IT Specialist to join their team in Jeddah. This is a full-time position with a requirement of 0-1 year of experience.

Position Overview

The IT Specialist will be responsible for supporting the company's technology infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations. This role involves addressing technical issues, maintaining systems, and providing end-user support in accordance with company policies and procedures. The objective is to protect company assets and ensure positive working relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with IT personnel to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems related to computer software, systems, internet access, hardware, and peripherals.
• Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting issues or terminating programs.
• Enter commands and activate controls on computer and peripheral equipment.
• Inspect, test, and diagnose computer equipment and systems.
• Maintain an inventory of all technology devices.
• Maintain computer networks, support server systems, and associated software.
• Provide network communications support.
• Maintain and upgrade hardware, software, and website technical architecture related to hardware and telecommunication connectivity.
• Perform system backups.
• Provide end-user support.
• Manage user accounts, including setup, removal, and password resets to ensure confidentiality and proper use.
• Install, configure, and modify workstations, including setting up cables, desktop computers, laptops, docking stations, and printers.
• Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or provide technical assistance.
• Secure all backup tapes and computer/telephone rooms.
• Educate users on procedures for securing Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures, including protecting company assets and developing positive working relationships with colleagues and guests.
