Loss Prevention Officer ( Saudi Nationals Only )

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts® is seeking a Loss Prevention Officer to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time position involves ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property assets through proactive measures and incident response. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor security systems, including Closed Circuit Televisions, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
• Lock property entrances as required and conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, administer first aid/CPR, or contact emergency medical services as needed.
• Assist guests and employees during emergency situations and notify appropriate individuals of incidents.
• Defuse disturbances involving guests or employees, calling for outside assistance if necessary.
• Complete incident reports for all security/loss prevention related occurrences and maintain confidentiality of reports.
• Resolve safety hazard situations and escort unwelcome persons from the property.
• Respond to vehicle accidents/thefts and complete a Loss Prevention shift summary/daily activity report.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.

Operational Duties and Standards

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure a clean and professional appearance, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate clearly and professionally, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately.
• Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations (*, run, walk, jog).
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, as well as sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, stairs, and ramps.
• Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
