About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Maintenance professional to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role is open to Saudi nationals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on ensuring the operational efficiency and guest satisfaction through timely and effective maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to and resolve guest repair requests, communicating effectively to address maintenance issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen equipment, and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, and machines for proper function.
• Identify, locate, and operate all shut-off valves for equipment and utility shut-offs for buildings.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Communicate daily activities and problems to other shifts using approved communication programs.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair, light bulb and A/C filter replacement, and ensure thorough cleanup of the work area.
• Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on various equipment, plumbing (*, unclogging drains), electrical components, and other guestroom items.
• Program TVs and assist with general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
• Utilize the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.
• Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping, including external landscaping sprinklers.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Basic knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including inputting air handler schedules and making temperature changes.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and heavier items with assistance.
• Capability to move up and down stairs, service ramps, and ladders, and to reach overhead and below the knees.

Experience and Qualifications

Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience. This role is specifically open to Saudi nationals only.
