About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Manager for Home Healthcare, Laboratory & Imaging operations within its Virtual Hospital. This full-time position, based in Jeddah, requires 5-10 years of experience to oversee and enhance the delivery of comprehensive patient care services. The role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution and quality of all connected care initiatives.

Operational Leadership and Service Delivery

The Manager will lead the end-to-end operations for all partnership and referral activities. This includes the execution, delivery, service, and outcomes related to Home Clinical Visits, Laboratory services, Physiotherapy, Vaccinations, and Imaging. The scope of responsibility spans across all connected care channels and patient touchpoints, ensuring a cohesive and high-quality patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently schedule home visits by leveraging data analysis and analyzing appointment data for trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with third-party providers for quality checks and oversee the delivery of lab results within established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Maintain a consistent patient-centric focus across all operational activities, ensuring patient needs and preferences are met.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to measure signed-off outcomes and align expectations across all connected care touchpoints.
• Design and implement Service Improvement Activity (SIA) execution plans to drive operational enhancements.
• Assess and continuously improve care quality across all channels, implementing and monitoring quality assurance measures.
• Foster partnerships to support referrals and ensure a seamless care continuum.
• Act as a primary point of contact for addressing and escalating any service failures or concerns, collaborating with the team on corrective actions.
• Interpret and clearly explain medical reports to patients and their families when necessary.
• Collaborate with IT and Digital Factory teams to enhance and finalize data-driven system solutions for laboratory services and home-based lab bookings.
• Leverage data analysis to contribute to the digitalization of the home healthcare journey, promoting data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in managing healthcare operations, with a strong focus on home healthcare, laboratory, and imaging services. Experience in virtual hospital operations or similar connected care models is highly desirable. A proven ability to establish and manage KPIs and SLAs, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, is essential for success in this role.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role involves leading a team and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of home healthcare, laboratory, and imaging services.
