About the Role

TELUS Digital is seeking a Media Search Analyst with Arabic language proficiency for part-time work in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This role offers a flexible schedule and involves contributing to the development of AI models through the evaluation of digital media content.

Role Context

As part of TELUS International AI's global community, you will join over one million contributors worldwide. This community plays a crucial role in collecting, enhancing, training, translating, and localizing content to improve AI models for major brands. Your work will directly support the machine learning initiatives of leading companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across diverse task categories, including evaluations of music, video, books, and podcasts within various media domains.
• Analyze and evaluate search results for App Store Content.
• Perform online research to assess and validate query accuracy and intent.
• Apply market expertise and follow provided directives to evaluate the relevance and purpose of task-related information for the Saudi Arabian market.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English languages.
• Residency in Saudi Arabia for the past consecutive year.
• Familiarity with current and historical business, media, sports, news, social media, and cultural affairs in Saudi Arabia.
• An email address associated with an Apple ID and experience with Apple products.
• Up-to-date familiarity with prevailing trends in applications, music, and video, with a strong interest in internet research.
• Flexibility to work on a diverse set of task types, including news, audio tasks, and relevance evaluations.
• Daily access to a secure broadband internet connection, a computer, and relevant software.
• Ability to work independently, adapt to new methodologies and processes, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• A High School degree or higher certification is preferred, but candidates with exceptional skills will be considered.

Assessment Process

Candidates will be required to complete an open-book qualification exam to determine suitability for the position and undergo ID verification. Guidelines and learning materials will be provided prior to the exam, which must be completed within a specified timeframe at the candidate's convenience.
