About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia (ex-Souq) is seeking an Operations Team Lead, Inbound for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role is central to the efficient functioning of Amazon's operations, ensuring timely processing and dispatch of customer orders.

Role Overview

As an Operations Team Lead, you will serve as the primary point of contact for team members during their shifts. This hands-on position involves guiding your team in adhering to established operational processes and utilizing the tools and systems that drive success. You will gain comprehensive insight into the various components of operations and play a key role in maintaining smooth workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure and monitor workflows, track onsite performance, and communicate critical shift information to frontline management to ensure operational excellence.
• Support and train employees, supervising their daily tasks to ensure high service delivery.
• Assist Shift/Area Managers with projects focused on process improvement, cultivating a safe working environment, and enhancing workforce engagement.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve common issues and address support needs in key performance areas.
• Utilize data analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing safety, quality, and productivity.

Required Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Experience with written and verbal communication, including presentations.
• Proficiency in running metrics reports, analyzing data to identify problems, and generating explanations for metrics.
• Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring.
• Experience in stakeholder management, interacting with multiple stakeholders at various organizational levels.
• Experience in technical support, engineering, or an operations environment.
• Upper intermediate proficiency in English.
