About the Operations Team Lead Role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Team Lead to join its team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position will be based in Jeddah and Makkah. As an Operations Team Lead, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing and dispatch of items to customers, a core function of Amazon's operations.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will serve as the primary point of contact for team members during their shifts. You will guide your team in adhering to established operational processes and contribute to the overall success of Amazon's logistics. Your responsibilities will include:

• Measuring and monitoring workflows, tracking onsite performance, and communicating critical shift information to frontline management to ensure operational excellence.
• Supporting and training employees to deliver high-quality service and supervising their daily tasks.
• Assisting Shift/Area Managers with projects focused on process improvement, cultivating a safe working environment, and enhancing workforce engagement.
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve common issues and address support needs related to key performance areas.
• Utilizing data analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing safety, quality, and productivity.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and data analytics.
• Experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional experience that would be beneficial includes:

• Over 1 year of experience in Amazon Amnesty Floor Monitoring.
• Over 3 years of experience in stakeholder management.
• Experience in operations management.
• Upper intermediate proficiency in English.

This is a full-time position located in the Makkah region, specifically serving the cities of Jeddah and Makkah.
