About the Role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a dedicated Product Specialist - Hematology to join their Innovative Medicine team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on representing Johnson & Johnson's products to healthcare professionals, ensuring their appropriate use based on clinical indications and company values.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary objective of the Product Specialist is to effectively represent Johnson & Johnson's products to healthcare professionals, promoting their value based on merit and clinical indications. This role aims to increase product access for eligible patients by detailing product benefits and adhering to all Johnson & Johnson Credo obligations and compliance standards. Collaboration with other functions is key to achieving market access goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maximize patient share for assigned products by understanding patient pathways and ensuring sales processes comply with J&J compliance, quality guidelines, and local laws.
  • Engage healthcare professionals (HCPs) through a multichannel approach (face-to-face, email, phone, presentations) according to the Customer Value Team (CVT) strategy, providing quality feedback for each interaction.
  • Achieve market share targets within the assigned territory.
  • Promote the image of J&J Innovative Medicine as a scientific and digital innovator within assigned accounts and organize promotional scientific meetings.
  • Maximize J&J Innovative Medicine's Access Reach through comprehensive account mapping, understanding logistical and product listing processes, and developing long-term customer engagements.
  • Identify short and long-term business opportunities in collaboration with the Market Access team.
  • Ensure execution excellence by fulfilling Customer Interaction Excellence (CIE) index and KPIs, including accurate database updates and visit reporting with valuable feedback.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of disease areas, products, and competitors through scientific quizzes and assigned training courses.
  • Organize assigned activities in compliance with all rules, using the correct CRM system as per SOPs.
  • Adhere to all J&J and local regulatory guidelines, including HCBI, FCPA, Policy of Business Conduct, Pharmacovigilance rules, Quality and compliance practices, and fleet safety standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
  • A good understanding of the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
