About Sabaq Resources and the Role
Sabaq Resources (سبق الموارد), a logistics and shipping company, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join its team. This full-time position is based in the Makkah region, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah cities. The successful candidate will be instrumental in generating new business opportunities, acquiring clients, promoting the company’s services, and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities of the Sales Officer
- Identify and approach potential clients requiring logistics and shipping services.
- Promote and sell the company’s freight, transportation, warehousing, and logistics solutions.
- Generate new sales leads through cold calling, client visits, networking, referrals, and market research.
- Understand customer shipping and logistics requirements and provide suitable service solutions.
- Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and service agreements.
- Negotiate prices, service terms, and contracts with potential and existing clients.
- Follow up with prospects and convert sales opportunities into confirmed business.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- Maintain regular communication with customers and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling and service delivery.
- Follow up on shipments and address any commercial issues raised by clients.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitors, and shipping rates.
- Maintain accurate records of clients, leads, quotations, and sales activities.
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Follow up on outstanding payments in coordination with the finance department.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of previous experience in sales, preferably within the logistics, shipping, freight forwarding, transportation, or courier industry.
- Good understanding of logistics and shipping services.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Valid driving license and access to a car are preferred.

- Strong ability to generate leads, acquire new clients, and close sales deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
- Target-oriented with the ability to work independently.
- Good command of English.

- Achievement of sales and revenue targets.
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Value of logistics and shipping contracts closed.
- Lead-to-customer conversion rate.
- Client retention and account growth.
- Monthly sales pipeline and forecast accuracy.
Work Environment and Location
This is a full-time role primarily serving clients across Jeddah and Makkah within the Makkah region. The Sales Officer will operate in a dynamic environment focused on achieving sales objectives and fostering client relationships.
