The Role of Sous Chef

Nawa Patio is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join its culinary team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the daily operation and management of the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in all aspects of daily kitchen operations.
• Supervise food preparation to ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistent quality and presentation of all dishes.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety within the kitchen environment.
• Assist in planning and developing new menu items.
• Coordinate effectively with suppliers for ingredient procurement.
• Manage kitchen inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
• Monitor food costs to support efficient kitchen performance.
• Collaborate with the culinary leadership team on developing innovative dishes.

Operational Management and Team Support

• Train and guide kitchen staff, fostering a productive work environment.
• Organize and maintain efficient workstations.
• Oversee cooking and plating processes to ensure precision and timeliness.

Candidate Profile and Experience
