About the Workforce Staffing Specialist Role

Amazon's Workforce Staffing (WFS) team is seeking a dedicated Workforce Staffing Specialist to join its operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role is integral to developing and implementing innovative labor models and infrastructure that enhance Amazon's employment value proposition and support global workforce challenges. The position is full-time and requires a commitment to supporting the KSA organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for talent acquisition based on data analysis, focusing on attracting diverse candidates at an optimal cost per hire and cost per WFS employee.
  • Implement and refine labor acquisition strategies, including recommendations for employee classes, labor pool utilization, and talent pool conversion across various Amazon businesses.
  • Collaborate with local Site Leadership teams, including Operations, Finance, and Human Resources, to optimize labor requirements.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Workforce Staffing performance reports using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Forecast labor demand and develop scalable staffing strategies to ensure team resource capabilities align with business needs.
  • Adapt strategies based on evolving business requirements by monitoring hiring event schedules and projected attendance rates.
  • Lead and manage projects of varying complexity through to completion.
  • Establish KPI benchmarks and metrics, prioritizing tasks to meet and exceed business Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Manage and oversee cost per hire budgets, including labor acquisition and advertising expenses within the designated node.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize candidate cycle time, conversion rates, and applicant funnel metrics against benchmarks.
  • Exceed associate experience service levels and KPIs, measured by hiring activity results and defect reduction.
  • Partner with site Finance Managers and Operations Leaders to forecast and plan labor demand.
  • Travel as needed to conduct events in various locations within the designated geographical area.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience with HR processes and systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Fluency in speaking, writing, and reading English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information, with a strong adherence to strict confidentiality standards.

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is part of Amazon's globally distributed Workforce Staffing team.
