About the Role
Nestlé is seeking an Associate Manager Sales for a full-time position based in Al Qassim, Saudi Arabia. This role is central to driving growth, ensuring executional excellence, and fostering strong customer partnerships within the retail channel. The primary focus is on delivering overall value of retail (VOR), encompassing sales, displays, new item introductions, and core distribution across the Qassim and Hail areas. The ideal candidate should reside in the Qassim Area – Center Region.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for both volume and value.
- Ensure and enhance full route coverage, optimize drop size, increase market share, and improve success rates.
- Follow up on and audit collections from customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
- Conduct training and development sessions for team members to enhance their sales skills.
- Monitor sales actions, conduct surveys to gather feedback, and refine sales strategies.
- Utilize sales tools and software for performance tracking and customer relationship management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical business practices in all sales and field operations.
- Supervise team collaboration to ensure product knowledge through in-person and phone communication.
- Oversee collaboration with targeted customers to create and execute business reviews that drive volume.
- Manage financial resources responsibly, ensuring compliance with pricing guidelines at the retail level.
- Report competitive price changes and promotional support, and resolve competitive pricing issues.
- Identify and correct product voids, ensuring the availability of new items.
- Communicate market insights from the retail level to management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the sales field, preferably within the food & beverage sector.
- Previous experience supervising retail routes and field teams.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, along with effective selling and analytical abilities.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and other POS systems.
- Ability to analyze financial, inventory, retail conditions, and other relevant data to apply appropriate selling techniques.
Work Environment and Logistics
This role requires a willingness and ability to travel as needed to cover the Qassim and Hail areas. A valid Saudi Driving License is mandatory for this position.
