As an Assistant Manager - Outbound Transportation, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing strategies for the transportation of fully built units, ensuring safe storage, maintenance, and efficient movement of vehicles in our facility. This position involves managing multi-modal transportation, collaborating with third-party logistics providers, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Manager in leading outbound transportation for all CBU (Import/Export/Domestic distribution) activities.
Assist in developing and implementing transportation strategies to optimize costs and service levels.
Coordinate with carrier partners and internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Monitor transportation KPIs and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with transportation and trade regulations.
Drive continuous improvement projects focused on lead time reduction and network optimization.
Supervise, coach, and develop team members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
7-10 years of progressive experience in logistics or supply chain operations.
Experience in a supervisory or team lead role within logistics.
Strong acumen for freight cost management and budget control.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.

About the Role
As an Assistant Manager in Packaging Engineering, you will take on a critical role in crafting and executing innovative packaging solutions that prioritize product safety, cost-effectiveness, and environmental sustainability. This position requires collaboration with product design, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure that packaging meets all functional, regulatory, and environmental standards.

Your Responsibilities:

Support design, validation, and implementation of packaging systems for global automotive projects.
Lead packaging initiatives across engineering, logistics, and manufacturing.
Drive standardization and improvement of packaging processes and materials.
Oversee packaging specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Utilize software such as PackAssistant for optimizing packaging density.
Benchmark industry standards and integrate innovative packaging technologies.
Manage packaging budgets and timelines while ensuring regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with suppliers for sourcing sustainable materials.
Conduct root cause analysis for packaging-related production issues.
Train and mentor packaging engineers and support staff.
