About the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Mgr Revenue to join our team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for maximizing transient revenue by effectively managing the transient rooms inventory across the hotel(s). The role involves strategic pricing, inventory oversight, and ensuring optimal booking conditions for customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the transient rooms inventory and maximize transient revenue for the assigned hotel(s).
• Release group rooms back into general inventory and ensure clean booking windows for customers.
• Recommend pricing and positioning strategies for cluster properties.
• Oversee the inventory management system to verify the appropriateness of agreed-upon selling strategies.
• Manage rooms inventory to maximize cluster rooms revenue.
• Assist hotels with pricing and provide input on business evaluation recommendations.

Revenue Analysis and Strategic Implementation

• Compile information, analyze, and monitor actual sales against projected sales.
• Identify underlying principles and facts by breaking down information or data.
• Utilize computer systems for programming, data entry, and information processing to generate accurate and timely reports.
• Conduct sales strategy analysis and refine strategies as appropriate to increase market share for all properties.
• Maintain accurate reservation system information and analyze period-end data to identify trends, future need periods, and obstacles.
• Update market knowledge and align strategies accordingly to achieve and exceed performance goals.
• Drive the execution of predetermined strategies and explore opportunities that drive profit and create value.
• Use reservation and demand forecasting systems to determine, implement, and control selling strategies.
• Check distribution channels for hotel positioning, information accuracy, and competitor positioning.
• Initiate, implement, and evaluate revenue tests, providing recommendations for process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

• A 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 3 years of experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or a related professional area.
• OR
• A 4-year bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, Economics, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 1 year of experience in revenue management, sales and marketing, or a related professional area.
• Overall professional experience of 5-10 years is required for this role.

Stakeholder Engagement and Brand Alignment

• Develop and proactively manage internal key stakeholder relationships.
• Act as a liaison, when necessary, between property and regional/corporate systems support.
• Provide revenue management functional expertise to cluster general managers, leadership teams, and market sales leaders.
• Ensure hotel strategies conform to brand philosophies and initiatives, promoting and protecting brand equity.
• Communicate brand initiatives, demand, and market analysis to hotels, clusters, franchise partners, and owners.

Additional Duties

• Inform and update executives, peers, and subordinates on relevant information in a timely manner.
• Attend staff, forecast, and long-range meetings as requested by properties.
