The Role of PMO Head

CoorB is seeking a PMO Head to lead its Project Management Office team. This full-time role, based in Makkah and Jeddah, involves overseeing the successful delivery of products and strategic projects. The PMO Head will align project goals with company objectives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. The position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the executive board to define key action items, project priorities, and progress updates, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy.
• Contribute to the formulation and execution of long-term organizational strategies, ensuring project management practices support business objectives.
• Oversee the automated system for tracking project performance and quality using KPIs, and adjust strategies for optimal performance.
• Lead the integration of Agile practices across all projects and mentor a team of Agile Ambassadors to ensure adoption of methodologies and continuous improvement.
• Maintain the integrity of project management methodologies, ensuring consistent application and driving continuous improvements.
• Conduct ongoing management audits of active projects to ensure alignment with best practices and identify process inefficiencies.
• Organize knowledge-sharing sessions for new project managers and participate in the recruitment of project management candidates.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is highly preferred. Additional certifications such as Agile, Scrum Master, or PRINCE2 are a plus.
• Demonstrated experience managing software development projects, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong understanding of project management tools (*, Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana) and project tracking/reporting software.
• Extensive experience working in a software development or IT-driven environment.
• Proven track record in leading large-scale, cross-functional projects from inception to delivery.
• Hands-on experience in managing a PMO or coordinating multiple teams to achieve business objectives.
