The Role of Senior Accountant

THRAA is seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations. This full-time, on-site position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial records and efficient accounting processes. The role is critical in supporting management with financial insights for investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and local regulations.
• Monitor internal controls and analyze variances.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Provide financial insights to management to guide investment decisions.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in accounting.
• Demonstrated understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis.
• Proficiency in ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
