About Bureau Veritas and the Role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join our team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a technical sales professional responsible for driving sales objectives and managing client relationships within the region.

Key Responsibilities

Manage pre-qualification and registration processes with new clients.
Conduct regular client visits to foster relationships and identify opportunities.
Achieve defined sales objectives and targets.
Provide weekly activity reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager.
Report sales activities and progress on Sales Force platforms.
Identify current and future customer service requirements through direct engagement with potential and existing clients.
Prepare and support the preparation of comprehensive proposals.

Required Experience and Technical Knowledge

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a technical sales role. A strong foundation in basic engineering disciplines is essential, along with a solid understanding of client needs and market dynamics.

Essential Skills and Expertise

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
Proficiency in market analysis, business intelligence, research, and strategy.
In-depth knowledge of service offerings and relevant research.
Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships.
Commercial knowledge, including project costing and margin analysis.
Proven proposal preparation skills.

Business Acumen and Professional Attributes

The ideal candidate will demonstrate awareness of the Central Region market, including key clients, and possess the ability to build strong relationships. A positive attitude and the capacity to handle challenging situations effectively are also required for this role.
