The Role of Treasury Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on daily bank balances to ensure adequate liquidity and accurate reporting.

• Track and monitor all bank account transactions, verifying accuracy and reconciling any discrepancies promptly.
• Verify and approve payment requests, ensuring strict adherence to established budgets and company financial policies.
• Process payments efficiently using various methods, including cheques, bank transfers, and cash disbursements.
• Prepare and submit transfer and payment orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with banks to discuss financial services, resolve issues, and follow up on transactions and inquiries.
