The Role: WWTP Technician I GF

MBRF is seeking a WWTP Technician I GF to join its team. This full-time position, based in Makkah with responsibilities spanning Jeddah and Makkah, is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring the continuous and safe operation of Water Treatment Plant systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous operation of the WWTP/Water Treatment Plant system, including Equalization, Anoxic, Drum-screen, Aeration, Clarifier/settling tank, Decanter equipment, blower room, MMF, water filtration, and chlorine systems.
• Maintain all WWTP systems in perfect and safe working condition.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance to keep assets in optimal condition.
• Maintain high quality in electrical/mechanical operations, consumption, standards, and control.
• Adhere to Corrective, Preventive, Scheduled Maintenance, and Kanban systems.
• Carry out daily routine works, parameter monitoring, and laboratory analysis.
• Maintain reports and records of activities and ensure good housekeeping in all areas.
• Comply with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of chemical products, tools, and the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Comply with HSE and food safety HACCP requirements and pre-requirements within the workplace.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S compliance within the workplace.
• Comply with BRF Sustainability Policy guidelines and ensure adherence to the BRF Sustainability Plan through routines that promote compliance with indicators and global ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) commitments.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:

• A minimum 2-year Technical course in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or basic Environmental/Chemical courses.
• 0-1 years of professional experience in a relevant field.

Workplace Standards and Compliance

The role demands strict adherence to established workplace standards and regulatory compliance. This includes full compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, food safety HACCP guidelines, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and 5S principles. The technician will also contribute to the BRF Sustainability Plan and its associated ESG commitments through daily routines and actions.

Location

This full-time position is located in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with operational responsibilities extending to facilities in Jeddah and Makkah.
