About the Role

شركة العوجان للمرطبات is seeking an Accountant to manage financial operations at its branch in Makkah. This full-time position requires a professional to ensure the accurate and timely execution of all financial activities at the branch level.

Role Overview

The Branch Accountant serves as the primary financial manager for beverage and soft drink sales within the branch. This role involves overseeing daily transactions, managing accounts receivable and collections, reconciling inventory, and ensuring adherence to internal controls. The Accountant acts as the main financial point of contact for the branch, collaborating with commercial teams to maintain financial frameworks and ensure data accuracy for consolidated reporting. They also work closely with the Commercial Financial Controller to enhance working capital management, support audit processes, and provide financial insights into branch performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions and monitoring cash and financial custodianships.
• Follow up on accounts receivable and collections to support cash flow improvement.
• Monitor accounts payable and coordinate with relevant departments for payments and financial settlements.
• Perform inventory reconciliation, verify discrepancies, and prepare necessary adjustments.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and participate in monthly and quarterly closing activities.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and support audit and examination activities.
• Act as the primary financial point of contact for the branch and provide support to operational management.
• Supervise the finance team, develop their capabilities, and monitor performance to ensure continuity of financial operations.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of experience in accounting or a related financial role. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices is essential for this position.

This is a full-time position based at the company's branch in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Saudi Arabia.
