About Navantia and the Role

Navantia is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its team in the Makkah region, with responsibilities spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time position dedicated to providing essential technical support for electrical maintenance activities within naval base operations.

Role Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer provides technical support for both preventive and corrective electrical maintenance activities. This includes performing basic fault diagnosis, preparing necessary technical documentation, and conducting spare parts analysis. The role involves active participation in naval base maintenance, contributing to the proper execution of Maintenance Plans under direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the technical analysis of failures, incidents, and electrical systems.
• Perform ship repair work on board vessels.
• Participate in the preparation of technical documentation, including reports, checklists, procedures, and evidence for the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).
• Record maintenance data accurately in designated systems.
• Assist the Senior Maintenance Engineer or Area Supervisor during functional inspections and operational verifications.
• Collaborate in technical investigations under supervision.

Required Experience

Candidates for this Electrical Engineer position should possess 0 to 1 year of relevant experience in electrical engineering or maintenance. A foundational understanding of electrical systems and maintenance practices is expected for this role.

Work Environment

This is a full-time role based in the Makkah region, specifically involving work in Jeddah and Makkah. The position requires active participation in maintenance activities within a naval base setting, contributing to operational readiness.
