About The Ritz-Carlton and the Role

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a dedicated F&B Service Expert to join its team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is centered on creating memorable and unique dining experiences for guests, extending beyond conventional food and beverage service.

Role Purpose

The F&B Service Expert takes initiative to deliver a wide range of services, ensuring guests enjoy their meal thoroughly. This involves proactive engagement and a commitment to enhancing the overall guest experience within the dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

Setting tables according to established standards.
Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Interacting with and serving guests in a professional manner.
Cleaning work areas and maintaining supplies.
Ensuring all guest transactions contribute positively to the overall dining experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Less than 1 year of related work experience is required.
No supervisory experience is necessary for this position.
No specific license or certification is required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

Success in this role requires adherence to company policies and procedures, upholding quality standards, and maintaining a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style. The work environment also demands the following physical capabilities:

Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Capability to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces.
Proficiency in reading and visually verifying menu information.
Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Capacity to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
