Food Packer Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Packer to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is crucial for ensuring that our finished food products are correctly packed, labeled, and prepared for distribution, while strictly adhering to daily output targets and comprehensive food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Pack finished products into specified cartons, trays, or pouches according to product specifications.
• Accurately weigh, label, and apply correct batch, production, and expiry codes to each unit.
• Inspect all units for defects, leaks, or damaged packaging prior to dispatch.
• Operate basic packaging equipment, including sealers, scales, and labelers.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP food safety and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Stack finished goods on pallets and move them to the designated staging area.
• Report any quality, hygiene, or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the food industry.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene principles is an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based in Makkah, with operations also in Jeddah. The role requires adherence to strict food safety protocols and involves working in a production environment.
