About the Role: Sales & Business Development Director

Suliyan Group of Companies is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sales & Business Development Director to lead and develop the Group’s sales and business growth strategy across its various companies. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and requires over 10 years of relevant experience. The role is suited to a commercial leader capable of operating across multiple industries and translating opportunities, relationships, and strategies into measurable business results.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute sales and business development strategies across the Group and its companies.
Establish and drive sales, revenue, and business growth targets.
Build and develop the sales structure, processes, roles, and performance framework.
Identify and pursue new clients, markets, and business opportunities.
Build and manage the sales pipeline from lead generation through negotiation and closing.
Develop commercial plans tailored to the market and business model of each company.
Build strong relationships with key clients, partners, and decision-makers.
Lead, coach, and develop Sales and Business Development teams.
Participate in major negotiations, proposals, tenders, presentations, and strategic client meetings.
Develop pricing and commercial strategies in coordination with Management.
Establish strategic partnerships and alliances that support the Group’s expansion.
Analyze markets, competitors, and client needs to identify new growth opportunities.
Monitor commercial KPIs and revenue performance, and prepare sales forecasts and Management reports.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other departments to ensure commercial opportunities translate into executable and profitable business.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development.
Demonstrated ability to build and develop sales functions.
Proven track record in identifying growth opportunities and acquiring clients.
Experience in establishing strategic relationships and partnerships.
Ability to lead teams towards measurable revenue and business growth.
Experience operating across multiple industries is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Jeddah, Makkah. The role involves working within a growing commercial function that supports the expansion of Suliyan Group of Companies.
