This initiative supports a range of ongoing projects focused on artificial intelligence and language-based services. We are currently seeking a Linguistics Specialist Saudi Arabic Hijazi to join this platform. This is a contract-based, remote position, with a focus on language expertise relevant to the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview

The Linguistics Specialist will contribute to various language-based projects, primarily involving Saudi Arabic Hijazi. This role supports the development and refinement of AI models and language content through detailed linguistic review and annotation tasks. The work is flexible and task-based, allowing contributors to engage remotely on an ad hoc basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine text, translations, and captions across diverse general areas such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribe conversations and conduct quality checks on transcribed content.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content for various project needs.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI systems.
• Assist in the localization of content specifically for AI models.

Candidate Requirements

• Near-native level proficiency in Saudi Arabic Hijazi.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Demonstrated excellent attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow specific instructions.
• Prior experience (0-1 years) in translation, editing, or related language tasks is preferred.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a 100% remote work arrangement, providing flexibility for task-based contributions. Contributors will engage in ad hoc projects as they become available, becoming part of a global pool of language specialists. The role involves a wide variety of projects, offering diverse engagement opportunities within a contract framework.
