About the Role

Cactus Communications, operating through its flagship brand Editage, is building a global pool of freelance contributors. We are seeking a Linguistics Specialist to support ongoing AI and language-based projects. This contract position is fully remote, welcoming bilingual speakers to engage in flexible, task-based work. Candidates with 0-1 years of experience are encouraged to apply for this role, which is open to professionals in the 'Asir region, specifically Abha.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and refine text, translations, and captions across general areas such as travel, food, lifestyle, and finance.
• Transcribe conversations and perform quality checks on transcribed content.
• Label or annotate voice, text, or image content according to project guidelines.
• Review and correct outputs generated by AI models.
• Assist in localizing content for various AI models.

Required Qualifications

• Near-native level proficiency in the designated Target Language.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Prior experience in translation, editing, or related language tasks is preferred.

Work Arrangement

This position offers a 100% remote work environment, providing flexibility for task-based contributions. The work is ad hoc, allowing contributors to manage their schedules while engaging in a variety of projects.
