Maintenance Rooms Preventative

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Maintenance Rooms Preventative professional to join their team in Makkah. This full-time role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance within guest rooms, meeting rooms, and public spaces, ensuring all facilities meet established standards. The position requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks in guest rooms (CARE, RPM, GCPM), meeting rooms, and public areas.
• Perform tasks such as flipping/inspecting mattresses, box springs, and assembling bed frames.
• Vacuum behind and underneath furniture, and spot clean carpets and upholstery.
• Conduct dusting, touch-up painting, and touch-up furniture as needed.
• Verify the presence and working order of all necessary hardware and appliances in rooms.
• Replace light fixtures and inspect/repair grout and caulking.
• Maintain, repair, and clean guest rooms according to property preventative maintenance procedures and guidelines.
• Perform minor repairs, including tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching wall holes.
• Conduct general cleaning of guestroom surfaces such as tubs, wall tiles, hard floors, walls, and windows/mirrors.
• Report serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards to management immediately.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Capable of moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.
