About the Role

LanceSoft Middle East is seeking a NOC Engineer Nokia RAN & Satellite operation to join their team in the Makkah region, covering Jeddah and Makkah. This contract role is central to ensuring continuous network availability and performance through 24x7 monitoring, rapid incident identification, and effective initial response.

Role Definition

The NOC Engineer is responsible for providing 24x7 monitoring of network elements, quickly identifying incidents, performing initial troubleshooting, communicating effectively with stakeholders, and escalating issues as required. This role is critical for maintaining the operational integrity of wireless and NTN network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor all Wireless & NTN network elements, including alarms across RAN, Transport, Core, and Satellite infrastructure.
• Continuously monitor KPI Dashboard, Alarm Dashboard, Network Health Dashboard, Service Availability, and OSS/CNC Platforms.
• Acknowledge alarms immediately, validate their legitimacy, suppress duplicate alarms, and create incidents for validated alarms.
• Open incident tickets, assign correct priority/severity, document troubleshooting performed, maintain accurate ticket updates, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Perform initial troubleshooting steps, including verifying device reachability.
• Escalate issues according to the escalation matrix, notifying Tier 2, vendors, and field operations as necessary, and immediately escalating major outages.
• Monitor maintenance windows, validate change success, perform post-change health checks, and identify rollback conditions.

Communication and Documentation

• Send outage notifications, update management bridges, participate in bridge calls, and update internal chat channels.
• Provide comprehensive shift updates and maintain accurate shift logs/handover templates.
• Document incident notes, record recurring alarms, and maintain records of known issues.
• Establish and manage DCAP user credentials.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant network operations or engineering role, with a strong focus on Nokia RAN and Satellite operations.

Work Details

This is a contract position based in the Makkah region, serving operations in Jeddah and Makkah.
