About the Role

Nahdi Medical Co. is seeking an Orthopedic Surgery Registrar to join their team in Makkah, Makkah Region. This full-time position involves diagnosing and treating injuries or illnesses within the Orthopedic department, requiring 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and document findings accurately.
  • Design and execute comprehensive patient care plans.
  • Educate patients on their health conditions, required investigations, treatment options, and medication use.
  • Provide patient education on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Order and review results of patient investigations.
  • Prescribe appropriate medications for patients.
  • Fulfill all obligations related to maintaining patient records.
  • Adhere to all Nahdi Care Clinics (NCC) Policies and Procedures (P&P), Bylaws Strategic Plan, Rules & Regulations.
  • Comply with the mission, vision, goals, and practice guidelines of NCC.
  • Actively participate in assigned NCC Committees and Task Forces.
  • Adhere to CBAHI standards of care.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments, local agencies, vendors, patients, and their families.
  • Complete fire safety requirements.
  • Comply with clinical and departmental structure standards, including attendance.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and ensure compliance with Clinical, MOH, and CBAHI quality standards.
  • Contribute to the continuous professional development of junior staff.
  • Integrate population factors such as heritage, environment, and disease prevalence into patient care.
  • Develop, participate in, and support active Continuing Medical Education programs as assigned by the chairman.

Specialty Tasks

  • Perform specific privileges based on training, experience, skills, and in accordance with Saudi health council guidelines.
  • Undertake additional tasks as determined by specialty and clinical privileges.

Work Environment and Conditions

The role is primarily based indoors (100%). The working schedule involves 6 working days per week with 1 day off. Daily working hours are 8 net hours, structured according to a shift schedule approved by the head of the department.
