About the Purchasing Officer Role

Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences is seeking a Purchasing Officer to join its team in Makkah. This is a full-time position responsible for managing procurement operations and ensuring the efficient supply of goods and materials for the hotel.

Role Overview and Contribution

The Purchasing Officer plays a central role in supporting hotel operations by handling purchasing-related documents with precision and maintaining accurate purchasing records. This includes conducting cost analyses and market research to facilitate data-driven decision-making, directly contributing to the delivery of memorable guest experiences through effective supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Support procurement operations by assisting with the purchase of materials and supplies, researching prices, and ensuring adherence to purchasing policies and procedures.
• Process and verify deliveries, accepting all purchased products and confirming accuracy against purchase orders, invoices, and specifications.
• Fulfill requisitions by issuing and delivering items to departments as requested, maintaining appropriate stock levels, and notifying supervisors of low or out-of-stock items.
• Process invoices, verifying their accuracy, scanning documents, and following up on discrepancies to ensure timely payment.
• Assist with inventory tracking, conducting routine inventories, inputting received merchandise into tracking systems, and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
