About the Sales Coordinator Role

Four Points by Sheraton in Makkah is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support its Sales & Marketing team. This full-time position requires 0-1 year of experience and offers an opportunity to contribute to the hotel's sales efforts in the Makkah Region.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Coordinator will perform general office duties to support the Sales & Marketing department, including filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying. This role involves preparing sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders throughout the sales process. The coordinator will also be responsible for promoting brand awareness both internally and externally, and assembling information packages with materials like brochures and promotional items. Additionally, the position requires utilizing sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, entering and retrieving information in sales software, and responding to guest inquiries regarding property facilities and services. Serving as a point of contact for clients, the Sales Coordinator will communicate via phone and email to address questions and requests.

Core Duties and Tasks

• Perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing.
• Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process.
• Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
• Gather materials and assemble information packages.
• Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty.
• Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in sales software.
• Answer guest questions about property facilities and services.
• Serve as the point of contact for clients, communicating by phone and email.

Adherence to all company policies and procedures is required, ensuring a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance. Confidentiality of proprietary information and protection of company assets are essential. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing service needs, and expressing genuine appreciation. Effective communication is key, speaking with others using clear and professional language, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering telephones with appropriate etiquette. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns are also important. Compliance with quality assurance expectations and standards is mandatory. This role may involve moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Supervisors may assign other reasonable job duties.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience is required.
