About the Role

Bupa Arabia is seeking a Senior Associate Licensing & Government Relations to join their team in Jeddah or Makkah. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the legal and operational readiness of the organization by managing all aspects of licensing for facilities, medical practitioners, and corporate permits. The Senior Associate will ensure total compliance with Saudi Arabian standards from various regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and renew non-medical facility licenses, including Commercial Registrations (CR), municipal permits, and civil defense licenses, by gathering requirements from internal and external stakeholders.
Oversee government portal requirements and monitor the validity and expiry dates of all licenses.
Execute medical facility licensing and renewals through the Seha (MOH) and CHI portals.
Lead the administrative preparation for CBAHI accreditation and periodic inspections, ensuring the facility’s scope of services aligns with its official MOH medical license.
Track the validity of medical licenses for all doctors, nurses, and allied health staff, ensuring practitioners are correctly linked to the facility in government systems and managing timely issuance and renewal.
Conduct legal reviews of contracts and other documents as required, and draft formal legal responses to government inquiries or regulatory notices.
Act as the primary representative for several government agencies portals and coordinate with internal departments to collect documentation for renewals.
Serve as the focal point for all government inspectors during onsite audits.
Maintain a unified dashboard tracking expiry dates for different license categories.
Monitor changes in Saudi Labor Law, MOH, and relevant regulations to advise management on potential risks.
Streamline the digital archiving of all licenses for easy internal access.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in licensing and government relations, preferably within the medical services sector.
Demonstrated understanding of Saudi Arabian regulatory standards (MOH, CBAHI, CHI, Civil Defence, municipalities, etc.).
Proficiency in utilizing relevant government portals for licensing and compliance.

Required Skills

Strong organizational and project management skills for handling multiple licensing processes.
Excellent communication and liaison abilities for effective stakeholder management.
Analytical skills for legal review and risk mitigation.
Attention to detail for accurate tracking and reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in either Jeddah or Makkah, focusing on maintaining compliance and operational readiness for a leading medical services provider.
