About the Role

PepsiCo is seeking a Sr. Merchandiser to join our sales team in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for maximizing our on-shelf presence and ensuring product visibility across all assigned outlets. The Sr. Merchandiser plays a vital role in executing merchandising strategies and supporting sales initiatives within the region.

Role Purpose and Context

The primary purpose of the Sr. Merchandiser is to enhance PepsiCo's product visibility and availability in retail environments. This involves strict adherence to approved planograms for both on-shelf and off-shelf displays, conducting in-store sampling or promotions as required, and proactively reporting any deviations from agreed arrangements. Additionally, the role contributes to sales strategy by providing pre-sellers with up-to-date market information to identify and leverage selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily journey plans by calling on specific OT outlets as assigned by the supervisor.
• Merchandise SSFL products across various access points within OT stores, including shelves, stands, and floor displays.
• Place Point of Sale (POS) material effectively next to SSFL displays where applicable.
• Ensure all product access points are merchandised in strict accordance with approved planograms.
• Manage product rotation using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and remove any sub-standard products.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on shelves at all times.
• Monitor competitive activities within outlets and report findings.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with assigned OT customers or outlets.
• Submit daily activity reports for the prior day to the supervisor.
• Participate in sampling and redemption campaigns when required.
• Uphold a professional personal appearance and behavior in line with the Frito Lay code of conduct.

Performance Indicators

Success in this role will be measured by adherence to high execution standards, effective enforcement of agreed terms (LTA enforcement), and consistent compliance with the daily journey plan.

• Possess a valid driving license.
• Demonstrate a strong service-level orientation.
• Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a full-time position based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves field-based activities across various retail outlets within the assigned territory.
