About the Role

JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a Systems & Digital Operations Specialist for a contract position based in Makkah, with responsibilities extending to Jeddah and Makkah. This is a hands-on, non-managerial role focused on the daily administration, reliability, and continuity of the organization's digital systems, user devices, and classroom technology, supporting key operational areas.

Core Responsibilities

The Systems & Digital Operations Specialist will be responsible for the following key areas:

• Administering and supporting core school platforms including PowerSchool (SIS), Toddle (LMS), Google Workspace for Education, assessment systems, and communication portals.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls in accordance with organizational protocols.
• Monitoring system availability and escalating issues promptly.
• Setting up, configuring, and supporting school-owned devices such as iPads and laptops, including peripherals.
• Managing device enrollment, updates, troubleshooting, and lifecycle, while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Supporting Audio-Visual (AV) systems in classrooms and shared spaces, including displays, projectors, sound, and conferencing equipment.
• Assisting staff with AV setup for lessons, meetings, events, and assemblies.
• Supporting annual academic year readiness cycles, including onboarding, class/course setup, and device allocation.
• Administering access controls aligned with data protection, safeguarding, and acceptable use policies.
• Maintaining documentation for systems, devices, and AV equipment, and logging/tracking support tickets, licenses, and renewals.

Operational Support Functions

This role also involves providing essential operational support:

• Providing technology and AV setup support to the Operations team, particularly during events.
• Supporting technology requirements for new space readiness and relocations.
• Liaising with Academic, Admissions, HR, and Finance teams regarding systems and operations needs.
• Offering additional support during peak operational periods.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following:

• Experience in an IT, systems, or digital operations support role, with 2-5 years of experience required.
• Hands-on experience supporting user devices such as iPads and laptops.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work according to defined procedures and escalate issues appropriately.
• Comfort in supporting non-technical users.

Desirable qualifications include experience in a school or education environment, familiarity with Google Workspace for Education, PowerSchool, or Toddle, and experience with AV or classroom technology support.
