About the Role

Majd Yanbu Industrial Company is establishing a new copper rod manufacturing facility in Yanbu Industrial City, Al Madinah Region. As the facility approaches commercial production, we are seeking an IT Technical Support Specialist to build and manage the company's IT infrastructure from its foundation. This full-time position is based in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The IT Technical Support Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end IT infrastructure setup and ongoing management. Key duties include:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and firewall infrastructure across office and factory environments.
• Administering the Odoo ERP system, covering Finance, HR/Payroll, Procurement, Inventory, Sales, and Manufacturing modules.
• Managing the Microsoft 365 E5 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, and Entra ID.
• Supporting IT/OT convergence for the CCR production line, furnaces, and utilities, ensuring interface between SCADA systems and the plant ERP.
• Implementing endpoint protection, patch management, and backup/disaster recovery solutions, while supporting NCA ECC compliance.
• Providing Level 1 & 2 helpdesk support, managing IT assets, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
• Managing vendor relationships, IT procurement, and budgets, and leading infrastructure projects from data center setup through to go-live.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on IT support experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience with ERP administration; Odoo is preferred, with SAP or Oracle considered a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• A solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls) and server management (Windows Server).
• Familiarity with SCADA/PLC/HMI networking and IT/OT segmentation is a significant advantage.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, CCNA, ITIL, or Microsoft 365 Certified are beneficial.
