About the Storekeeper Role

alfanar, a company operating construction and manufacturing businesses, design and development centers, and various facilities across the Middle East and beyond, is seeking a Storekeeper for its operations in Yanbu. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to contribute to the company's extensive work in Electrical, Electromechanical, and Civil Engineering Construction, as well as Manufacturing and Marketing of Electrical Construction Products and Allied Engineering Services.

Role Purpose and Context

The Storekeeper will be responsible for maintaining general and department-specific routine daily store activities. This includes processing postings, managing the receipt and distribution of supplies, conducting inventories, and performing inventory control. The role may also involve managing purchase and change orders, ensuring the efficient flow of materials and assets within the store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving, handling, and storing materials, tools, assets, and equipment.
• Updating inventory records accurately and promptly.
• Assigning codes to materials for systematic tracking.
• Recording and maintaining monthly reports on assets.
• Processing receipt vouchers for incoming goods.
• Ensuring housekeeping and implementing safety measures, particularly for combustible materials.
• Receiving materials at the incoming bay, verifying delivery notes, packing lists, and transfer notes.
• Issuing materials as per authorized requests.
• Updating daily records for temporarily issued materials.

Operational Execution and Compliance

In this role, the Storekeeper is expected to execute operational activities in accordance with delivery schedules and work instructions, utilizing tools and machinery efficiently to manage costs and time. Effective communication with peers and supervisors is essential, demonstrating openness to directions and feedback. The position requires assisting in the resolution of related issues and escalating complex operational problems when necessary. Adherence to quality standards for products and processes, as well as compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and safety regulations, is mandatory.

Qualifications and Experience

This position is designed for individuals with limited experience, specifically between 0 to 1 year. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
