About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a Driver to join our team in Al Jubail. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to providing excellent guest service and maintaining vehicle safety and operational standards. The Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring guests are transported efficiently and comfortably to their assigned destinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport guests to and from assigned destinations using a property vehicle.
• Document all trips thoroughly, both before and after each journey.
• Inspect property vehicles for cleanliness and any damage, ensuring they are parked in designated locations when not in use.
• Monitor tire pressure and fluid levels, refueling vehicles as necessary.
• Report any vehicle maintenance needs or incidents, including damages or accidents, to appropriate personnel and management.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance and uniform.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
• Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, utilizing electronic devices for information exchange.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the team.
• Comply with all quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Complete required safety training and certifications, reporting any unsafe work conditions or injuries to management.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move at a speed required to respond to work situations, including running, walking, or jogging.
• Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and objects exceeding 75 pounds with assistance.
• Maneuver over various surfaces, including sloping, uneven, or slippery areas, as well as up and down stairs and service ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, involving bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions.
• Frequent use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills, with regular application of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
