About the Role

Guardian Industries is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Al Jubail, Eastern Region. This full-time role requires a project-focused mindset to maintain safe and reliable operations, contribute to plant transformation through automation, facility upgrades, and process and safety improvements. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide on-the-floor engineering support to operations and maintenance to understand equipment performance, troubleshoot issues, and evaluate system capabilities.
Actively participate in fostering a safety culture where employees address unsafe conditions and behaviors, and contribute suggestions for improvements.
Execute capital projects, including upgrades to plant systems, process equipment, and scalable transformation priorities.
Generate mechanical requirements and estimates for projects and equipment upgrades.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing equipment such as conveying systems, automated stacking equipment, batching operations, and combustion furnace operations.
Read, modify, and create technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated models.
Provide training and technical support to Maintenance and Production Departments.
Investigate equipment failures and recommend solutions for manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a relevant mechanical engineering role.
Demonstrated project-focused mindset.
