Piping Commissioning Supervisor at Shanahan Engineering

Shanahan Engineering is seeking a Piping Commissioning Supervisor for a contract position in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. This role focuses on ensuring all piping commissioning activities are prepared and executed safely and efficiently, adhering to the OPERCOM® methodology and project schedules.

Role Overview

The primary function of the Piping Commissioning Supervisor is to manage and oversee all commissioning activities related to piping disciplines. This position requires close coordination with various project entities, including the Interface department, Integration team, Construction, and Project Services, to ensure seamless transitions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Prioritize Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) in all piping activities.
Ensure all piping personnel receive adequate training and comply with job instructions.
Coordinate, review, and approve the quality and completeness of deliverables and procedures for piping activities.
Assist the Commissioning Unit leader in witnessing and monitoring commissioning activities.
Review commissioning progress and ensure smooth transitions from the commissioning to the start-up phase.

Qualifications and Experience

Engineer level or equivalent education.
High knowledge of piping activities within a petrochemical site.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar piping commissioning or construction position.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in piping and mechanical pre-commissioning and commissioning.

This is a contract position located in Al Jubail, Eastern Province. The role requires a dedicated professional to contribute to critical project phases within a petrochemical environment.
